Now that you’ve selected your chapter header style, it’s time to finalize the appearance of the rest of your book. Select an option from each of the below sections to complete your book’s appearance. To get a larger image, right click on the image and open in a new tab. Note – please ensure that the option you select is available for the style you selected earlier. The available options will be listed under each one.
Chapter – Opening Line
This option allows you change the look of the first line of the first paragraph of each chapter. Note – please ensure that the option you select is available for the style you selected earlier.
Option One
Option one is the simplest with no changes to the appearance of the first sentence of the first paragraph of the new chapter.

Option Two
Option two has a simple modification with the first three words being in capital letters and a slightly different font.

Option Three
Option three uses capitalized letters for the entire first line.
Available for All Styles
Option Four
Option four takes the first letter of the first line and makes it three lines high.
Available for All Styles
Option Five
Option five takes the first letter of the first line and makes it two lines high.

Option Six
Option six takes the first letter of the first line and makes it cursive-style letter two lines high.
Available for Styles: Artisanal, Kindred, Meridian, Parcel
Option Seven
Option seven takes the first letter of the first line and makes it two lines high. It also changes the color of that letter to a reddish-brown.

Option Eight
Option eight takes the first three words and capitalizes them with larger letters.
Available for Styles: Chroma, Parcel, Thrace,
Option Nine
Option nine uses a three line high letter with a different look than option four.
Available for Styles: Oxford
Ornamental Breaks
An ornamental break allows a clean visual break between sections. You can even insert a custom graphic to use as an ornamental break. A longer, shorter vector image is ideal. Note – please ensure that the option you select is available for the style you selected earlier.
Ornamental Break One
Ornamental Break one is a simple break with three asterisks.

Ornamental Break Two
Ornamental Break two uses two joined wavy lines to form an elegant break.

Ornamental Break Three
Ornamental Break three uses a shorter line to create a clean and simple break.
Available for All Styles
Ornamental Break Four
Ornamental Break four uses a slightly longer line than option three and adds tapered ends to add just an extra bit of style.

Ornamental Break Five
Ornamental Break five features a single snowflake as the break.

Ornamental Break Six
Ornamental Break six uses a stylish little turnip graphic for the break..

Ornamental Break Seven
Ornamental Break seven features a classic shell like image as the break.

Ornamental Break Eight
Ornamental Break eight's long, thin rectangle creates a clean, crisp look with the break.

Ornamental Break Nine
Ornamental Break nine uses a classic floral vine for an elegant, old-school appearance.
Available for Styles: Oxford
Ornamental Break Ten
Ornamental Break ten can be anything you want (within reason). A custom image can be inserted to match the theme of your book.

After Ornamental Break – Opening Line
If your chapters have section breaks, this will allow you to select what the first line after the break looks like. Note – please ensure that the option you select is available for the style you selected earlier.
Option One

Body Options
Body options dictate how your paragraphs and text look on the page.
Indented Paragraph
Each paragraph is started with an indentation to indicate a new paragraph.
Spaced Paragraph
Instead of an indentation, a space is used between each paragraph.
Non-Justified
Your lines can be either justified or non-justified. The previous two examples are justified while this one is non-justified. Non-justified can be used with either indentations or spaced paragraphs.
